Understand the service
The on-demand service takes riders from their preferred pick-up locations to preferred drop-off locations in St. Charles, St. James, and St. John the Baptist parishes.
To travel on certain routes or at certain slots, a pre-booking is required to travel to and from based on the available schedules.
Covered Area
The River Parish Transit Authority (RPTA) was created by special Louisiana legislation for the purpose of providing regional transit service covering St. Charles, St. James, and St. John the Baptist parishes.
Days and Hours of Service
The service will be provided Monday through Saturday for trips scheduled between 5:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.The RPTA call center is open for trip scheduling between the hours of 8:00AM to 4:00PM EST Monday through FRIDAY.
Cancellations, trip confirmations, complaints, and other requests that come in during afterhours can be handled by the dispatch team who operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Mobile App and Website
Riders also have the option of scheduling rides through the Link Microtransit mobile app (available on both Google Play and the Apple Store) or the RPTA website.
Select the “arrive before” option to ensure they are dropped off on time.
The mobile app also allows to follow the vehicle approaching in real time via a map and to receive a precise drop-off time estimation.
Riders can check and modify future trips in “my bookings”.
